Temple Poojasthan

  • The Mandir (Temple – Pooja room) should be located in the Eshanya Kona (North-East zone) i.e. Deva Moola of the home and work place.
  • The photos and idols of God should be facing Poorav disha (East side) or Paschim disha (West side) ie. either the devotee performing Puja should face Poorav disha (East side) or God’s photo and moorti should face Poorav disha (East side).
  • Do not create over head cabinets or cupboards above the Temple / Poojasthaan.
  • Do not keep pictures of departed souls (ancestors) in the Temple and especially on the same platform with other pictures of God. Ideally the pictures of departed souls should be installed on the South wall.
  • Temple and pictures / statues of God should not be installed on a toilet common wall.
  • At home worship “Sthir Laxmi ji” i.e. Goddess Mahalaxmi ji sitting on a lotus.
  • Never keep the Temple darshan completely closed. i.e. the light and air should penetrate into the temple, hence keep the shutters open.
  • Play “Vastu Shanti” cd every day in the morning.
  • In-order to clean the mind, body and environment, we suggest to spray the Holy Ganga Jal on your body (especially forehead) and in the entire property.
